My jumper is 8 1/2 and still wants to jog from one end of the apartment complex to the other several times a day to get to the dog park. I try to do these walks in the morning, but sometimes we both get nervous in the afternoon. I keep her little collar in the freezer and just put it on when we get home. Immediately she stops breathing heavily and just lies down. I can only imagine what she would say if she could talk! I think it's a bit of doggy ecstasy. At first I was a bit concerned. I was worried that it would be too big and if I walked around with it it might fall off, but I devised a little procedure that seems to work very well. I'm seriously considering buying another one to keep in the freezer. As I write this, Europe is toasting, and soon the United States will likely be toasting as well. God saves the man who saves himself. One on the dog and one in the freezer.
