Great so far! in Soldering and Soldering Equipment

I was looking to replace the on site game repair piston I have, although good in its own right, had a downside as it was a butane gas piston. Accidentally burn something through the small exhaust hole it has. I decided to look for something else, I'm very glad I looked and found this. It's like my desktop iron is always with me wherever I go. It's been a while since I haven't owned a portable soldering iron, but these things are ten times better than ever. No more waiting 2-3 minutes for it to heat up. Literally 10-15 seconds and you're done. Just like my Hakko and step station. Tips are easy to replace. The tip is very good in that it is there, I believe there are many tips here that you can get as well. The display is easy to read and the temperature settings are easy to change. I was really surprised how easy it is to handle. You even saw a battery adapter for this device, so it can be even more portable than looking for a plug or extension cord. I wanted to buy it, but I haven't come across enough situations where it would be beneficial to me. It may be a bit more expensive than some other portable irons, but as someone who has used a number of cheap and expensive ones, you won't regret buying it. Not a big deal, but does anyone know if it's possible to switch the display to Fahrenheit? The only other downside is the cord, but until they figure out wireless power or find a super battery that lasts forever, you'll be stuck with a cord that can get in your way or a hot exhaust that can burn things up.
