I own dozens of double-edged safety razors - I love trying new ones. Even though I have dozens of them, I still have some favorites that seem to shave me better and easier. This razor will be on this short list. Tried it out this morning with one of the included (less than outstanding blades) and got a GREAT shave. I also shave without a shower, which is usually not the best conditions for me. It's not a heavy razor at all - it's made of a lighter alloy, similar to another favorite razor/brand I've used for years. The knurling is ok - not big but deep enough to prevent slipping. Although the geometry of the head is perfect for me. He was shaved very closely and clean on the 2nd day of growth. The shave was so good with such a blade, now I look forward to shaving with a good blade. Overall very happy with this shaver.
