Expensive for what you get.

I use traditional double bladed razors. A good razor gives an amazingly close shave. This one is well constructed, but the design isn't true. For the price, this razor requires disassembly of the head to install and remove the blades. Also, there is no stand to hold the razor before and after use. This one lies down for the next use instead of standing to one side right in the corner of the worktop. For the price I expected more.

The included blades don't go well with the Razor. Cheap blades/cheaper "razor " /AVOID

Basically, these supplied blades are thin. You can fold them pretty easily, maybe with two fingers. Based on how this unit works, if you look at figure 2 first, you're not going to get much razor outside of this unit once you've fully inserted the included blades. Well, mine basically doesn't work. The device is very light and not heavy, like some kind of metal. It's listed at $20.99, I honestly wouldn't pay $2.09 for it as I'd still give 1 star for $2.09. New favorite? on Razors & Blades

I own dozens of double-edged safety razors - I love trying new ones. Even though I have dozens of them, I still have some favorites that seem to shave me better and easier. This razor will be on this short list. Tried it out this morning with one of the included (less than outstanding blades) and got a GREAT shave. I also shave without a shower, which is usually not the best conditions for me. It's not a heavy razor at all - it's made of a lighter alloy, similar to another favorite razor/brandโ€ฆ

Nice, aggressive razor - beware!

This is a durable, attractive screw-top razor with a machine knurled handle for a secure grip with a wet or soapy hand. It has a very attractive brass/copper finish that contrasts well with the stainless steel. It comes with a set of double edged razors but I loaded it with a feather blade and it shaved very well but with a very careful and light touch. The angle of the razor is slightly more open and the hair is steeper than Mercury's. 25C or Bevel razor so a very gentle light touch isโ€ฆ
