Here's the deal guys, this is used for Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony (Gongfu-Cha). These are genuine Gongfu Cha products from China. If you're going to use this as a tea infuser, you'll have to get off that tarmac, because that's not what they're designed for. They are used for the overflow cup to filter the leaves out of the kettle. They do exactly that and fit perfectly on my transition bowl. They filter out even the really fine tea leaves that usually go through many sieves. If you are into Gong Fu Cha, it is highly recommended for your practice.
