I had to buy several backlit keyboards before I found this one. If I had bought that first I would have saved about $150. beautiful appearance. I've been typing for years with very bad habits. My hands go everywhere. I've been typing for years enough to know where the keys are. I just don't always know where my hands are. So if I make a mistake, I often have to look at the keyboard to reorient myself. Many other keyboards, even those that are backlit, reflect the light from above, making certain characters difficult to read. This is the problem when I'm trying to remember if "%" is Shift-5 or Shift-6 and I have to change the viewing angle to figure it out. However, there is something about this keyboard that I look down on to refocus less often. Believe me, it has to do with the feel of the keyboard. In any case, great product. I also pay special attention to the feel of the keyboard. The keyboard is comfortable, reliable and very quiet.
