Runs long distances. The sole is quite stiff, not flexible at all. I don't understand how shoe designers forget that our human feet naturally flex when we walk. Nice pattern and colors. The photo shows a size 4 toddler size comparison next to a size 5/6 Speedo water boot (which is a bit too big for my daughter)! I will keep them because they are cute and will probably fit my daughter in a few months or so but disappointed because I bought them to fit her now at her current size 4 and they don't seem any size smaller than this for sale 2020: these have become my daughter's favorite wellies (she also had a pair of crocs). As soon as they were too big for them, I bought the same model in the next size up because she liked them so much. I plan to buy another pair in the next size up because they will soon outgrow them too. I'm keeping my rating at 3 stars because one pair started tearing in a few places which got their socks and feet wet and now I can't pass them on to their little sister. They ended up in the trash. BUT they lasted a while and she wore them a lot. They lasted their two rainy seasons (autumn and spring). They are also very easy to put on and take off. They may have also fixed the sizing issue as she is now a size 6/7 in most other shoes and has only now outgrown a size 5 of these wellies.
