These massage balls were just what I needed. At the beginning. I mean they lasted about 10+ months and then they went soft and now they are soft and soft. Hence the 4 stars. It might have taken longer if my husband hadn't used it. However, if you want something that isn't too complicated and don't mind repurchasing maybe once a year, this is a decent option. Most balls are heavy for me, and even if they touch my spine, they hurt. I can roll it left to right up my spine and it applies relieving pressure that doesn't hurt but still penetrates deep into the muscles to provide the relief I need. Since my body is sensitive, I'm thinking about buying it again.
