These shoes are excellent except for the inner sole (inner sole). These are my favorite shoes for 9 year olds. The look is extremely durable and will go with most of the clothes the 9-year-old wears. The quality of the interior and especially the insole has deteriorated significantly. Wrinkles and falls apart after a week of wear. It's just a thin piece of foam with a thinner piece of fabric that doesn't stick to the shoe. We went through 3 couples in less than a year. Aside from that, which I think is a pretty big issue, the shoe is great priced, comfortable, and looks solid.
