This is on a home network. All computers can print without problems. However, when scanning, only the computer to which the printer was first connected can scan properly. Other computers "don't even see the printer/scanner" unless some software is disabled and not sure if it even works. This is without a doubt a software nightmare. Did anyone at CANON think it would be a good idea to send packets to a scanner to see if they're available? Because the source computer is busy sending packets, other computers on the network do not see the scanner function. Stupid, really stupid. I do not recommend this TR4500 series printer/scanner/fax. You forgot the main rule in software development, which is KISS it. KEEP THIS SIMPLY STUPID: CANON has since refused to register this printer. The serial number does not match the title ie TR452x. 4520,4522, OK, but 27 nada Turns out this printer IS LISTED ON CANON'S CANON WEBSITE BUT NOT ON THE US CANON WEBSITE. So Canon USA refused to register which means no support, no account based on this printer. CUSTOMER, BEWARE. I was thinking more of AMAZON, hmmm.!
