Of the 4 levels in this pack, only one is close to the level. You don't even fit on a hot shoe. Please see the attached picture of this 3 axis plane. One side of the hot shoe mount is thicker than the other, preventing it from sliding in the mount (not to mention it's not flat). Of the two planes of an axis, one was close to plane, the other was off (see). Both sit loosely on the flash shoe and can easily slip off. So I recommend putting them on only when necessary so you don't lose them. All were tested both on a known flat surface and in front of the camera using the camera's electronic level. .I bought these for use with film cameras and digital camera bodies that don't have a built in alignment feature. I'm not sure if there are better devices out there, but I know they really aren't worth the money.
