I have two spirit levels. The first was rubber with a "horizon" level. It slipped right into my hot shoe. The second was a plastic cube that fit in my hot shoe. It contains some bubbles that show me where to position my camera in landscape or portrait mode. Not sure I will be using them. They fit on the flash mount. They are accurate enough for a camera. I bought a tripod with 3 levels, but that might come in handy. I have grid enabled on my camera so I don't really need it. But for the price, it can be worth having a cheap camera and others in your pocket. As for some of the other reviews. Excellent equalizer. I have a Canon G40 which doesn't have a built in equalizer like most newer cameras do. Therefore, the correct level can only be achieved with a spirit level on a tripod or on the camera itself. I prefer to have the aligner on the camera itself as sometimes I need horizontal or vertical shots. The leveler fits freely in the hot shoe. I give this product a 5 because I can use these two hot shoe covers on different cameras. I lent my A6300 to a colleague and it was returned without the hot shoe cover. Instead of just replacing the lid, I decided to find something useful. The little black one doesn't fit my a6300 (too small), but the 2 axis one fits perfectly. Of the 4 levels in this pack, only one is close to the level. You don't even fit on a hot shoe. Please see the attached picture of this 3 axis plane. One side of the hot shoe mount is thicker than the other, preventing it from sliding in the mount (not to mention it's not flat). Of the two planes of an axis, one was close to plane, the other was off (see). Both sit loosely on the flash shoe and can easily slip off.
