I bought this kind thinking I could carry it around for landscape photography. I use both camera plane and live view mode to ensure the tripod and camera are at the same height when working with the landscape. I added them to my Nikon D850 and they work great! I compared them to the camera results and they were just as smooth and faster than using the menu. Am I going to build a house on it? No, but for the price, ease of use, and results, they're perfect
