I installed 2 of these Dorman mixer door actuators and both "clicked" after they reached the full cold and full warm positions. In other words, when you move the hot/cold air temperature controller, the actuator starts to move the mixer damper. As soon as the mixing flap reaches the completely cold or completely warm position, the drive must stop. In the case of these Dorman drives, they keep clicking inside the drive. Internal plastic gears. This is abnormal behavior and does not occur with original drives. I'm not sure if I have 2 bad Dorman drives or if all of those Dorman drives are bad.
