Belts work great. I hitchhiked my jeep from Virginia to California using a uHaul car transporter. With my oversized tires I also had to buy bigger tire basket straps, but for a 2,500 mile ride I wanted a little more security. These belts and axle belts did the trick. I had no problems, the straps are good and work as they should!
