They are great, easy to install and true to size. I put new vinyl floors in some bedrooms and removed the old metal door stops that they screwed into the floor. Of course, I didn't want to replace these blocks with others, so I looked for alternatives and found them. Those were exactly what I wanted. I recommend rubbing rubbing alcohol on the wall and letting it dry completely before sticking the sticky part to the wall. ETA: Another reason to buy these if you have cats who like to nibble on those that go either on the floor or on the wall in front of the door. My cats did just that and I was afraid they would snap a tooth on the floorboards as they had chewed off the rubber tips on all of them.
