Media could not be loaded. Installation was pretty easy. A small leak, but nothing significant. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times hoping to fix a small leak but nothing worked, including asking the plumber to make sure it wasn't my faucet. Since the leak was minor, I simply placed the coffee maker's jug underneath and let it catch the drips. Don't you know waste? In recent weeks, however, the leak has gotten much worse. I posted a question on Revain to see if anyone else had the same issue or suggestions. None of the suggestions helped. When I move the chrome cover to get a better view of what's going on, I see a crack in the filter. In fact, both a crack and 2 small holes have formed. When I turn on the filter without a cover, the gravity of the holes is clearly visible and water splashes everywhere! I have contacted Instapure but am no longer satisfied with the customer service options. There is no free number. However, I called the customer service number there and had to leave a voicemail message as there were no staff available. I also submitted an online warranty claim. So far there is no answer. I have had other filter systems (Pur) for years and this has never happened. I find the water filter too thin or poorly made to withstand the pressure of the water as the water is pushed through the filter. Therefore, holes are formed and leaks occur. I hope they find a quick fix, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
