The only thing I'm not sure about is the accuracy. We had a cool summer/spring. I needed a heater to raise the temperature to a temperature high enough to encourage beneficial bacteria to develop in cooler weather. It took the thermostat three days, so to speak, to find its equilibrium. It appears to run 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the dial on the switch. **NOTE: The temperature wheel will NOT light up and will not be the same color as shown in the picture. Just straight black plastic. He raised the temperature to 20L which is all I need.
