You asked for the "thickness" rating. I have no idea what you're talking about. You asked me to rate "Remote Control". No remote control. The most amazing thing about this product is how small it is. It is significantly smaller than the previous Sony CD player I bought. Unfortunately, the previous model's CD player no longer played CDs. Same problem as other Sony CD players. They stop reading CDs and playing music. Of course you can't get them to work. The sound quality from this unit is not as good as my previous Sony CD player; No wonder, the speakers are only 3 inches in diameter. I tried to find a big Sony machine but couldn't find it anywhere. In general it's ok for a small room. I use it on the pool deck and don't find it optimal. I'm curious how long this CD player will last.
