I live in New York and have always ridden my bike to get around, but since the pandemic I've grown taller to avoid the subway. I have a Giant Hybrid bike and decided to purchase this footrest as part of my bike essentials. I bought it in late September 2020 and one day in early May 2021 I put my bike on the train while I was in Central Park to stop and have a drink. A few minutes later I heard a crash and my bike fell over. When I picked it up, I saw that the stand's leg was broken immediately. Photo provided. Very disappointed as I haven't had it even 1 year.
