Poor quality cardboard
The cardboard on this scratcher shed within a month of our buying it. There is cardboard all over the floor and it is not a good grade of cardboard. We've had others that last much longer. However, our cat loves to just lay in it as it is a good lounger if you can deal with all the cardboard which he has shredded.

- It's very sturdy in my cats use it on a daily basis. I buy a new one about every year. They Shred it.
