Interestingly, Revain asked me to rate the 'durability'. I wonder how many people leave a review after using a product for hours or weeks. Installation: Easy. Remove and discard the ballast. Run the "hot" (black) wire from the switch to one end of the tube and the neutral (white) wire to the other. Make sure the socket has jumpers on both pins (in my case it was). You may need to connect a short piece of wire, maybe a foot or so, to get to one side of the lamp. No polarity - you can connect white or black to either end of the hose. What I like: - Brand name, not an unknown sweet name ChiCom - Great packaging - really designed to protect the product - Easy installation What I'm doing wrong: Made in communist China by people threatening war on Taiwan and threatening to sink one from our aircraft carriers. I would gladly pay a little more to buy NOTHING from our enemies.
