The ratchet shaft broke on the second use.
Nice concept and most looks well put together but I sent it back because the ratchet broke on the second use. Also, any kink at the end of the bar that allows the bar to be rotated a quarter turn to disengage the pawl must be formed so that it does not touch the edge of the door when released and potentially scratch the door. I wish it was more durable, but it isn't.
