It was necessary to have a soundbar that was an unusually light hue because it was going to be used with a Shivaki 40-inch TV that had a terrible sound system. Mi is the only company that is able to provide this at a price that is affordable. This speaker is the greatest thing, but it is not suitable for voice acting in the spirit of a home theater or as a system for a "apartment disco." If you are looking for a "improver" for the sound of inexpensive TVs, then this speaker is the best thing. The sound is well balanced, without any accentuated lows or highs, and there is no bass at all (which begs the question: where does bass come from when the speakers have such little physical dimensions?). The price of 3.9 is appropriate for the item in question. When compared to another JBL soundbar, which was the least costly model in the series and could be purchased for 7 euros, the JBL offers the sense of being a more balanced product with greater sound, but it also costs more.
