Too much adhesive for accessories and consumables

Ok, the product does what it is supposed to do, covers the cable. However, unlike some other reviews, the adhesive stuck to the wall too much and ripped the paint off. We needed a razor to get it off the wall and then had to putty and repaint. We could have used a cord cover but definitely not with the included glue. You get many covers in one box. We used 2 cords in the attached picture.
