Classic expander bracelet but difficult to shrink

My husband loves to wear watches and loves the convenience of expander bracelets. I asked him to try the Gilden Expansion unisex bracelet 18-22mm with curved stainless steel end. He liked the classic look of the stainless steel bracelet. He particularly liked the curved ends, which he thinks look better with his rounded watch cases than straight-ended straps. After resizing, the watch strap feels comfortable on the wrist and is very easy to put on and take off. Overall, he really likes this Guild Expansion Volume, but noted that sizing was the most difficult and frustrating part of the experience. He said that anyone resizing this type of strap without the help of a jeweler should watch the video on the Revain product page, which is included in the listing. In addition, there are a number of other helpful videos available online by searching "U-Clip Expansion Band". He said he would recommend not only measuring your wrist before you start, but also measuring another watch strap that fits your wrist comfortably so you don't have to resize that strap more than once. To check his measurements, he also slipped a guild bracelet over his watch, resized it, and put it on his wrist. He then squeezed the excess links until he found a comfortable fit and confirmed how many links he needed to remove. He noted that getting into the final U clip was the hardest part for him. My husband has an old watch strap remover that he thinks will help hold the strap in place while he works on it. Also, he found better leverage by using pliers with sharp needles to grab and install the last U-clip. This process was tricky too, but luckily he managed to get it right the first time.
