This is the second such router in my family. Great device. I chose it as a top-end router with a 5 GHz network to cover an apartment (100-200 sq. M). Where 2.4 does not cope, 5 GHz are beaten with a bang. I took it in m video v.2 One tip that can help: Tried two official firmware Archer_C7_V2_150629_RU and Archer C7(RU)_V2_170209 So I STRONGLY recommend leaving 629 firmware. and MANDATORY to put the US region. Because if you put 2022, then the 5 GHz network will be castrated by software and will not work at maximum speed. I have tested it with various tests. I even had to roll back the firmware.
