SPF is real and so is skin cancer. I don't mess around after having a couple of slices removed from my forearms.not cancerous, thankfully.but still. These sleeves are the real deal for outdoor activities; golf, bicycling or anything where you'll be outside in the sun for extended periods. When I first wore them I couldn't believe my arms were cooler with them on than off, but it's true.Having relocated to the Phoenix area, I've been sun sensitive as it can be merciless here. Picked up these SPF sleeves to replace older pairs that tended to slip down to the elbow, not great. These were half the price as the older ones and so far have shown great elastic without movement. I also picked up some SPF tights which I haven't tried yet, but imagine they will also help while I play golf or ride the bike. One sleeve did snag on something and pulled a bit of material but didn't run! Might buy more. Protect your skin from the sun.
