Review on Zhiyun Crane M2 Official - Handheld 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for Mirrorless Camera, Gopro, and Smartphone with Grip Tripod by Jose Cox

Amazing device for my Sony ZV-1!

Works like a charm, allowed me to record amazing 4K videos on the ZV-1. I now use it to complement my Sony 4K AX-100 with a large telephoto lens. Balancing the camera is actually quite simple, don't overdo it. If it looks balanced (there's almost no resistance to rotation about the three main axes), then it's balanced! It's not about stressing the motors, it really doesn't take 3 hour YouTube videos to balance :-). You can move forward and backward on three axes to fine-tune the balance. Just take 5 minutes to do this. Then I prefer to just leave the camera on the gimbal. Make sure to balance the camera with the lens extended ("camera on")! It took me a while to connect the stabilizer to the Sony ZV-1. Bottom line is (a) you need a phone for that. Download the "ZY Play" app on your phone, (c) you need to enable Bluetooth for the camera and gimbal to communicate with your phone, and (d) Wi-Fi needs to be on the Sony ZV-1 camera Enabled the way Elements' gimbal controls interact with the camera. To connect your Sony camera to your phone and thus the stabilizer via Wi-Fi, the best way is to scan (take a picture) this scan code that appears on the ZV-1's display when you go to the Wi-Fi - Options go. . This is done through the "ZY Play” application. You can control the camera through the ZY Play app, but I don't do any of that. I only used the setup app once. Usage is very simple. I printed pages 12 and 13 of the instructions onto a large sheet of paper. I used it in PF mode first, but now I prefer the F or Go modes, which slowly follow your tilt. Overall a great product and definitely worth the money, five stars!
