The plastic bag that the filters were supposed to be in is torn. There were only 23 filters and there was no information on how the filters were made. Other activated carbon filters we have used require flushing prior to installation and must be wet for proper use. We don't know if the information got through the torn package or just didn't get in, but we felt it was necessary to use it properly. These filters were significantly darker than other filters of the same style that we had used before. I don't know if it was the difference in charcoal or if thinner fabric was used. We sent the filters back and just a few days later our Revain account was credited with the gift card amount for a refund. We are very happy with how the company handled our return.
