Much better than the chunky heavy font

These prismatic lenses are much nicer than the old blocky heavy plastic versions. BUT it's not the same experience. The goggles are constructed with a flat metal frame that is lightweight but engineered. They do not tolerate abuse, careful care is required. Peripheral vision isn't blocked and the viewing space is smaller, but definitely adequate for watching TV, using a laptop, reading if your neck is flat. You just have to get used to the changes. The benefit is that you don't have to pinch the bridge of your nose and you can use them to support your neck for much longer. For those of us with chronic neck pain, TMJ and migraines, this version is a godsend. It comes with a black soft-touch leather hard case. The cover is fluffy lined, has a nice zipper, a loop for hanging or carrying; Including microfiber cleaning cloth and elastic neck strap. So if you put them in a case after use and keep them away from kids and pets, these glasses should last you quite a while. One consideration may be the size of your head. I have a medium sized head and the side arms can expand about 1 inch on either side. but more than that could be a problem in my opinion. The silicone nose is also thin, which is fine with me; It has some flexibility to go bigger, but again it may seem too pointy to you if you have a wide nose. I'm not sure how much of the metal attached to the nose and side arms could be adjusted with tools; You must be very careful. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I used them for 3 hours on the night of delivery while watching the show and I was very relieved. These glasses didn't hurt my nose and my experience of viewing through smaller lenses was fine.
