I had no problems installing it. I've read of some who have. I was scouring YouTube videos for one thing I wasn't aware of (I think it was the clips surrounding the case, but YouTube and my 11 year old figured it out for me). Protects like an otter. I wish Otter Box had made a protective style case where you could have your own screen protector or the glass film they made to install. I hate buying a $500 device and then covering it in plastic. The whole experience is far less pleasant. However when a young child gets used to it this is something that needs to be done as they don't offer any alternatives (tried this as a commuter and liked it for my phone but a 6 year old doesn't touch my phone so it's not a big one thing).suburban doesn't protect like a defender). The charging port is also quite annoying because I have to take the top shell off to get to it and then it's hard to open and very deep to plug in the cable. Sometimes I miss and scratch the device with a cable. The headphone jack is similar, but because it's round it's a lot less intrusive. I would buy it again but really wish there was an option with glass.
