MUCH more than it looks!
I bought this to store my school supplies which will most likely fit. The school supplies themselves aren't here yet, so I checked them out using Crayola SuperTips and some pens and pencils I found in my room. When I first opened the package I was a bit disappointed when I saw the size. Then I added my Crayola SuperTips and my company. HOLY GOD THIS IS HUGE! I have a regular 3 hole pencil case that looks way bigger than this one and it's bulging at the seams from those markers! This place has more! Since I received this today, I can't speak to durability and such, but I'm hoping to update it mid-school year.
