FOR LARGE ROLLS - THE TRAY KEEPS AND SAVES paper 'dry' from 'splashing' at the sink. It's so convenient that you don't have to "reach" for the "second" roll as often. Love it, it's ONE PIECE, FINISH/COLOR IS PERFECT with other bathroom fixtures! Drill 2 holes and mount. I just removed the old dispenser. The new ones didn't match the "old" holes, but OK. The wide backplate covered the old "holes" well. Depending on where you "exactly" place the new holder, you can probably "align" at least one of the holes. Do you have a "NARROW" hanging space like me? FIRST TIME on this mission? Here are some helpful TIPS: 1) Just leave the shelf in place. 2) With a pencil in hand, mark the MOST DIFFICULT "hole" you need to reach. 3) Set tray down - 4) Holding screw - CHECK Mark hole with pencil. 5) Tighten the screw. 6) Align the REGAL hole over the cabinet/wall hole. 7) Fix the plate with the screw. The shelf can now be EASILY "PUSHED" adjusted/moved (up and down) to achieve perfect "shelf" alignment. (SHELF WON'T MOVE? Slightly loosen the screw). I don't trust my vision so I took a small "level" to be 100% accurate. - also did the murmur test!.8) Once the tray is optically aligned, put the screw back in the hole - tighten the screw again. . . .9) NOW MARK the second hole with a pencil. 10) TEST ROOM? (remove the whole plate and 11) drill the 2nd hole according to the pencil mark). 12) Align shelf and securely fasten 12 - VOILA!
