I can't stress this enough when people skimp on the vital details that keep you alive. Tires, seat belts, lights, BRAKES / ROTORS. While this product has good and bad points, I still give it 5 stars for a few reasons. Bad: Rotors and pads are thicker than OEM spec. In order to adjust the distance from the caliper to the rim, I had to remove the rubber adhesive film from both brake pads. The kit makes a hacking and whistling noise, like whistling in front of a rotating fan. This is because the rotors exhaust air from the drilled holes. Like all carbon pads, they continue to perform even when cold. Good: They clamp much better than the original pads. When used on winding roads, the brakes do not disappear. The rotors wear evenly and evenly, don't want to glaze. Slightly more expensive than OEM Brembo blanks with ceramic pads, but much better in performance.
