I have been using copper wire cords both indoors and outdoors for a while. I had never seen them with solar panels and was curious to try. We hung them on our back fence for Christmas which was pretty easy. These are tiny colored "fairy lights" so they are very small and need to be dark to light up. Pretty ethereal. We have a park behind us so the lighting was perfect! The best part was that you didn't have to use 2 or 3 extension cords and go to the fence to turn them on and off! Solar panels need enough sunlight every day. On rainy days the lights came on as soon as it got dark but went out after an hour or two. Several neighbors turned off these lights when they saw ours! I will add more next year.
