The materials and finishes look nice, but the handles aren't deep enough to fit into even the slimmest of briefcases. It barely fits a 12.9-inch iPad Pro (small size only) and it can work with a slim phone case, but it's right on the limit. The screw is too thin to feel strong and the threads are so thin that it takes a lot of turning to protect the device. I almost sent it back but on the Amazon product page it's hard to tell if another would be better so for now I just live with it and it works with the understanding that I'll take my iPad out of the case every time must if I want to use the mount.
