My 7 year old loved this shirt. He said it was comfortable, cool (not hot) and perfect for a photoshoot. If I could say one "bad" thing it would be that it's a bit small for your typical 7/8 size. When my son raised his arms above his head, they rose and exposed his stomach. He couldn't wear a shirt underneath because the button was already buttoned. I wish there was an option to increase the size but since there isn't one you can get away with that if your kid is slim and tall like mine. If you have a fatter 7/8 year old, find another shirt. It was a great purchase and overall we were happy.
