Review on ☕ Melitta #4 Cone Coffee Filters, White, 40 Count (12-Pack, 480 Filters Total) by James Kapihe

I have owned and used several Cuisinart 12 cup daily programmable coffee makers with the included gold coffee filter for at least 10 years. but I've never bothered to use a Melitta cone filter since I got my old Mr. Kaffee. My impression is that Cusinart gold filters do not require an additional paper filter and I don't think the instruction manual even suggests or recommends using a paper filter in addition to the gold filter. However, when I recently bought my latest Cuisinart 12 cup, it came with a starter pack of two or three Melitta paper filters along with an included Cuisinart gold filter. I tried to balance the gold filter with pattern paper filters and the coffee tasted a little cleaner and smoother. it was necessary to remove the used paper filter with soaked dregs from the morning brew, replace it with a new one and throw it in freshly ground coffee. No mess, no fuss. When I looked in the box of replacement filters and found a special pack of 12 Melitta filters of 40 each on amazon.com, it was easy. When bought in bulk the price was only 4.3 cents per filter, now I'm set for over 1.3 years. How can you go wrong?
