Review on Green ASUS Memo Pad HD 7-Inch Tablet with 16 GB Storage (ME173X-A1-GN) by Adam Worek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

After switching on, it was immediately ated to 4.2.2. The screen is easily soiled, it is worth getting a film and a cover so as not to scratch either the screen or the camera. On tablets of this price category, they usually put not cameras, but some dummies, but here we have a quite tolerable rear camera with autofocus. Summary: the price / quality ratio is unrivaled, who chooses a 7-inch tablet for himself and who is not critical of the lack of 3g - take it without hesitation. ate. Another drawback is that the rear camera is located in the middle, when using the tablet horizontally, your finger constantly touches it and it gets dirty, so be sure to buy a case (Persona Cover is great). The problem of the lack of a percentage indication of the charge was easily solved by installing an alternative battery (look for instructions on w3bsit3-dns. Com). Matte film solved the problem of easily soiled glare screen. True, I did not find the original film, so I took the film to Asus Nexus 7, fell for statements from the same w3bsit3-dns. Com that it fits perfectly. I responsibly declare the FILM IS NOT SUITABLE, she had to cut ALL the edges and round the corners, that is, the film was used in the universal mode, and not the original one. The battery and power consumption are very pleasing. Three days have passed since the first charge, the remaining charge is 51% (I use an hour and a half a day, the screen brightness is somewhere around 30%, wifi is always on, power saving mode is on).

Pros
  • Battery, screen, camera, price
Cons
  • Haven't found any major flaws yet. If you really find fault, then: the absence of a digital (percentage) indicator of the battery level, or rather it is, but hidden deep in the settings; connection to a PC not as USB mass storage, but via MPT, that is, driver installation is required; for two days of use, the launcher crashed once with an error; unusual location of the power and volume buttons;
