Sends vans down roads where they are banned

We bought this unit for our camper because we plan to drive more on unfamiliar roads. It proved largely useless for its stated purpose of navigating RV-friendly routes. As indicated, we have entered the dimensions of our trainer. When we first rode it over Labor Day weekend, we encountered traffic on I-95 in Connecticut that was even worse than usual. This was a trip we've taken many times, so we just wanted it use to familiarize ourselves with it. Garmin proposed an alternate route that included 28 miles of the Merritt Parkway. We were 99% sure that RVs were not allowed on the boulevard due to the low clearances and tested to confirm. Needless to say we didn't go the other way. When I was fiddling with the settings, I came across a disclaimer that said Garmin *may* offer such routes, and that was our problem. Garbage. plan to return it.
