Review on πŸ”Š Fender Rumble 40 v3 Bass Combo Amplifier: Unleash Powerful Bass Tones by Ken Perry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Powerful! Best in Fenders

Small and light, but powerful. I'm impressed with this little bass amp from Fender - the Rumble 40 V3 is surprisingly well built. Don't let the small size of this amp fool you. plug in, switch on and start. The 10-inch speaker has it all and easily delivers enough volume for small rooms. XLS Out is a real win. With the ability to plug this amp directly into a mixer, I can play this little amp at every gig. The delivery was delayed by a day but I don't know why. But it came the next day and the box was in good condition. It came in a standard box with typical foam corners for side impact protection. Unpacking was a simple task. Open the top flaps of the box, remove the foam corners and lift straight out of the box. It came with a fairly short power cord, but it's a Type-D connector, and I have a lot of these lying around, so I took longer because it wouldn't be a problem. The handles feel good, don't dangle, and don't go cheap. Levels were a little harder to gauge, at least to my ear. Difficult to hear subtle changes in knob settings as they are rotated. The best feature is the classic Vibe button and the separate Master Knob button. Nothing surprising. Just fine, logical, placement and orientation - it made it easy to figure out and adjust the volume and tone to your liking. Back to the speaker - the 10-inch speaker pushes a lot of air for such a small size, which was a pleasant surprise. Verdict: At ninety-nine dollars, the Fender Rumble 40 is a great deal that's great for practicing in a small space. The amp itself and the added ability to plug it directly into your board means you can play it anywhere. Small size yes. I dig it up. Powerful! If I could make a suggestion it would be to just make the box bigger and turn on the air holes so it moves even more air, but that's just old school! lol! :-) Keep pumping good people! Keep loading! a few months later and numerous concerts and rehearsals and he was dragged from place to place and thrown into a van and so on. etc. stomping and walking around fairly regularly Of course The Crown has put an end to it for the last 4 months or so but before the end of the world we played a huge concert in honor of St Patrick and Rumble 40 was on Great. What catches the eye the most is the XLS output jack on the back, which allowed our sound engineer to hook it up to a giant subwoofer stand and basically fill a boom-boom room at atomic levels. It was wonderful! For your health! Keep downloading them all! Be safe out there!
