Description of 🔊 Fender Rumble 40 v3 Bass Combo Amplifier: Unleash Powerful Bass Tones

Expore bass tones from classic gritty growl to slap-worthy modern punch with the newly-developed overdrive circuit and switchable contour controls. A beefy 40 watt class D power amp and ported speaker enclosure pumps volume and deep bass response but keeps this amp very light in weight - only 18 pounds!. Practice privately with the 1/8" headphone output jack that also mutes the speaker output. Jam along with your favorite tracks by simply plugging your MP3 player into the 1/8" Auxiliary input jack and instantly become part of the band. Enjoy the peace of mind that this amp is backed by Fender's 5 Year Transferable Warranty.

BIG AMPLIFIER! in body and frame parts

EXCELLENT AMP! Not only does this amp look great, it sounds really good, has decent power, is easy to use and weighs nothing. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT even watch Rumble 15, it sounds tinny and awful. And it only costs $20. less than 25. This amp is ideal for practice and can be used for small gigs in coffee shops when playing acoustic instruments.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not the best

Great little lightweight bass amp BUT not for long.

This amp is ideal for rehearsals, small gigs and as a monitor for big gigs (use the Y connector to connect the bass output to this amp and the main amp as this amp has no output) . I have a big 180 watt but it weighs about 60 pounds, I only take it to big gigs. This 25W fender weighs exactly 20 pounds, is 15 inches high, 15 inches wide and 11 inches deep and is very easy to transport. Most importantly it makes a good bass sound with punch. That's why I bought it. Have to see how long it lasts…

For some reason Revain has combined ALL reviews from EVERY DIFFERENT Fender Rumble Combo into ONE review thread? 500 watt combo, they ALL have different speaker sizes, ALL have different wattages and EVERYONE is ALL made for a specific purpose. Revane, you made this Fender Rumble combo amp review very confusing, to say the least! I continue with my review. from Rumble I have a Fender Rumble 200 with a 15" speaker as well as a Fender Rumble 500 with 2x10 speakers, both of my Rumbles work great…

FENDER HAS A WINNER WITH A RUMBLE 25 BASS AMP

I've been playing bass since the early 70's, I was very skeptical about this little bass amp but it turned out to be a great addition to our recording studio. SOUND - The most important thing about any amplifier is the sound quality. This amp sounds like a very powerful bass amp with deep, full bass that you wouldn't expect from an 8 inch speaker. Before you forego the 8-inch speaker, consider that my pair of $7,000 Meyer HD-1 studio monitors, which are only -2dB at 30Hz, have an 8-inch woofer…

There is no bottom end and it distorts easily. Not recommended.

I've been reading about people interested in Rumbles for a long time and decided to give it a try. I ordered the smallest Rumble 15 with the lowest power. To be honest I shouldn't have expected much because that's what I got - not much. You should also pay tribute to that - you shouldn't expect any bass from a cheap 8-inch speaker. It's just not gonna happen folks. You need to go AT LEAST 10 inches to get a real low end bass combo. The amp arrived very well packaged. Heavy box with good…

Powerful! Best in Fenders

Small and light, but powerful. I'm impressed with this little bass amp from Fender - the Rumble 40 V3 is surprisingly well built. Don't let the small size of this amp fool you. plug in, switch on and start. The 10-inch speaker has it all and easily delivers enough volume for small rooms. XLS Out is a real win. With the ability to plug this amp directly into a mixer, I can play this little amp at every gig. The delivery was delayed by a day but I don't know why. But it came the next day and the…

Comparing 15, 25, 40, 100 and 200 combinations -

I have played all five fender rumble combinations listed in the title at home. I needed two amps - the first for home practice and maybe for stage or church performances, should sound great at all volumes. The second is a travel amp for jamming with my acoustic friends. Here you need a decent sound from the smallest possible box and a good, full-fledged sound at low volumes, because acoustics (including me) are suspect to amplifiers. I settled on 100 and 25 but if I could only afford one amp it

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Rumble 25 does all the work for me

In this January 28, 2013 New Yorker article "Music for your ears”. Daniel Levitin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Levitin) "pointed out that most of the lowest notes on most pianos are actually perceived and not heard. The soundboard on most pianos isn't long enough to play the lower octave, but the brain hears the correct overtones for the piano to play, and the neurons in the brain start firing at the frequency of the missing bass note at a time (1950s-1960s) this psychoacoustic feature

Value for money - AMP is the winner! (Musician Appearance)

I've been playing with this amp for about a year (30+ shows) and this little guy is amazing in terms of tone to weight ratio. For years I played an Ampeg HLF4x10 cabinet with a 400 watt Yorkville Bassmaster head (that tone can rebuild your guts) and I loved it for the sound, but the setup is outrageously heavy and big. Rumble 500 with two 10" speakers (because I like the punch of 10" speakers) but when I went to the music store I only had a 100W Rumble. I gave it a try and played through the…
