Review on πŸ”Š Fender Rumble 40 v3 Bass Combo Amplifier: Unleash Powerful Bass Tones by Tutan Guliford

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Great little lightweight bass amp BUT not for long.

This amp is ideal for rehearsals, small gigs and as a monitor for big gigs (use the Y connector to connect the bass output to this amp and the main amp as this amp has no output) . I have a big 180 watt but it weighs about 60 pounds, I only take it to big gigs. This 25W fender weighs exactly 20 pounds, is 15 inches high, 15 inches wide and 11 inches deep and is very easy to transport. Most importantly it makes a good bass sound with punch. That's why I bought it. Have to see how long it lasts (I play once or twice a week). BAD NEWS: I've been using this amp for about 18 years. Months (once a week, less than 30 minutes each). It doesn't work properly anymore. It makes a crackling sound, which means the electronics inside have failed. I've tried different cables, same problem with guitars too. I have Behringer amps that seem to last forever (a key amp and a bass amp). Now I have to go back to the Behringer bass amp (180 watts, about 60 kilos!). Too bad about Fender.
