Our old battery tester quit working so I bought this one to replace it. I keep my old drained batteries (according to my old tester) in a bag until I have time to take them to be recycled, and decided to double check some of them with this one. Well, about 3/4 of the batteries weren't bad at all, and many of them were actually fully charged. This battery tester just saved me a lot of money and waste. I like that it uses a triple aaa battery and can do button batteries and 9 volt batteries (no more tongue testing those!). Only time will tell how durable it is but so far I'm impressed.
