This speaker gets loud quickly. I can turn it down very low on my phone, but a press of the volume starts to get louder. He has good bass. The equalizer button does not affect the sound quality at any setting. I changed the equalizer settings on my phone and the sound is much better. I wish there was some kind of coating on each end of the speakers to protect them. The brown strap doesn't match the speaker at all, the black one would suit me better. The strap is very handy for moving a fairly heavy speaker. But the most important use of straps is to hide those incredibly annoying flashing lights. They flash continuously while music is playing. It pairs quickly and works pretty well. The voice prompt "Pairing" is too loud. Overall I like this speaker.
