Bad WiFi driver, but I have a solution!

Like many who bought this I was surprised that the TP Link driver for this product is not compatible with Windows 10 Creators Update. This shuts down the T3U and if it connects to the router at all it doesn't see the internet connection. This has become a major headache for most of us. To help you and everyone who bought this device with Windows 10 I have a solution that I believe is a workaround for using the drivers provided by TP Link on their website. TP Link makes a slightly different USB Wi-Fi adapter known as the Archer T3U Plus. It has the same chipset as the Archer T3U and I have found that these drivers work on the Archer T3U as well. Download it here: https://static.tp-link. com/2020/202006/20200601/00015960-RTLWlanU_WindowsDriver_1030.38.0712.2019_Drv_3.00.0032.L.zip Save this in a folder somewhere. Double-click the zipped folder and locate the RTWLANU_Driver subfolder. Now copy RTWLANU_Driver to the folder you saved and remember where you saved that folder. If you already have the TP Link driver installed, be sure to uninstall it. You have to install this manually on Windows 10. To do this, go to Device Manager by right-clicking the Windows button icon on the far left of the screen. Choose Device Manager. Find Network Adapters and expand it. Now right click on the TP Link Wireless USB Adapter and select Update driver. Now select "Show drivers on my computer" and "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer". Then click the "Have Disk" button. The Install From Disk window appears. Now select Browse and open the folder where you saved the drivers and locate the RTWLANU_Driver folder. Open RTWLANU_Driver and select the operating system you are using. For most of us this will be WIN10X64 if you are running Windows 10 on the modern Windows 10 64-bit (If you are running Windows 10 32-bit, just use the Win10X86 folder instead. "Now Windows will select the Win10X64 folder and It will find the driver for T3U Plus. Select it and Windows will install the driver and prompt you to restart your computer fi usb adapter, the TP Link for you suggested.
