I wanted a good quality small wooden dollhouse (with accessories) for my daughter that also costs less than $100 PROS: The fact that it doesn't is pink . High quality paintwork. Sturdy Construction: My 29 year old daughter stood on the deck and she held up great. The ladder swivels so you can put it in different configurations. CONS: I didn't even think about it when I bought it, but the handle is displaced (located on the roof), which is why it warps when carried. I don't think my daughter will move it much so it's not a problem for us but worth mentioning. Reason for removing a star: Assembly was a bit frustrating as warped floorboards didn't line up with the slots in the frame. - they finally fell into place after I tensed up a bit. It also wobbles a bit after mounting on flat surfaces. Other Thoughts: The assembly took about an hour, although I did it after I slept and probably could have done it faster if I did it when I was rested. Contains dolls: father, mother and girl. I bought a family of cats from Calico Critters and a kitchen garden from Plan Toys for the Plan Doll House kitchen garden and they both go well with this dollhouse.
