Review on RAINBEAN 7.5-Inch Heat Diffuser Plate, Stainless Steel with Handle, Induction Adapter for Gas Stove Glass Cooktop, Flame Guard for Induction Hob Pans by Sally Willyard

I love this product. I purchased a 9.25" Rainbean induction cooktop diffuser - primarily for making Cuban coffee in a 3-cup aluminum coffee maker. I have a Nuwave Pro induction hob which is now 4 years old. It's faster and much more efficient than an electric stove but like all induction cooktops it doesn't work with aluminum pots, pans etc. As a result I can now use an aluminum Cuban coffee pot with my Nuwave Pro cooktop by using this new diffuser for the induction cooktop . I had read reviews about the warping and bending of induction cooktop diffusers and was concerned. But I had absolutely no problems with the RainBean diffuser. Through trial and error, I found that I can set a Nuwave induction cooktop to medium-high (which reads 275°F on the display) and it quickly boils water and brews coffee with no problems - and much faster than my electric glass-ceramic cooktop. . I tried using lower and higher temperatures but found that the medium setting worked perfectly. Haven't seen any discoloration or warping so far, this was the perfect solution for using an induction cooktop to heat an aluminum coffee pot. Rainbean is beautiful to look at, durable and perfect for use on induction cooktops with aluminum products.
