Review on 📻 Classic Walnut Tabletop AM/FM Wooden Radio - Sangean WR-15WL Review & Features by Eric Power

This is a nice little radio. Looks good, feels good, fits good, sounds good. A bit bassy as others have said but I like the warm tone so I'm fine with that. My main reason for the 3 star rating is that the description is incorrect. I specifically chose the "Walnut" radio to match our walnut furniture, but the radio is cherry veneer, not walnut. I will say this is a good natural wood veneer but very smooth and well finished. In the photo you can see the cherry radio on the walnut bench that I made. The dark brown of the bank is a typical shade of hazel, while the radio is a sort of rose gold. The bench has a panel that makes it appear even darker. Since the radio isn't finished yet, I put a piece of raw walnut on top so you can see the apples-to-apples comparison. Revain sent a replacement unit thinking the one I received was just an exception but the replacement was cherry too so I sent it back. In the end I decided to keep the radio because it sounds good, tunes well and fits in my space, but I decided to post this so others know.
